Flooding is our problem

A flood is an overflow of water within significant amounts in the mainland. When the heavy rains was fall, much waste is blocking the flow of water and canal is too low so that canal doesn't hold  rainwater and water flooded road. More puddles and covered the roads. The street and sidewalk are invisible, everything was covered by water. And that is a flood.
why it can happen ? and how to handle it ?

There are some problems that cause flooding :
1.     Throw away trash into the river
Many people throw litter in the river, it can cause blockage of the drains and pollutes the environment.
2.     Canal is too low
It can cause canal doesn’t hold rainwater in significant amounts and water was overflowed and covered the road.
3.     There is not land to absorption of water.

I think we all should participate to handle it. We have to do with ourselves that is by not throw away trash in the river. We also have to remind each other for that if we throw away trash carelessly it can be detrimental to our own. We also have mutual aid to clean canal periodically. We also have to plant trees around the house for land to absorption of rainwater.

Government also should play a role in the handling of this in several ways. That is by making a big canal in the underground, it’s like foreign country. There is dredging of river to deepen the river. Government also should make a dams to rain to reservoirs rainwater. And city park, so that rainwater can be absorbed by plant. The last, government should make regulations for not throw away a trash in the river and give sanctions or punishment for those who violate.

Government actually has done a variety ways. That is, making a dams and regulation for this, and this is still enough. Because of this, we should teamwork to handle it and i’m sure we can do it.
